After application you should wash applicator with soap and water. Do not boil applicator or use hot water to clean it.
Inform your doctor of any history vaginal bleeding, cancer, blood clots, stroke, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, family medical history of angioedema, blood clotting disorders, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol or triglyceride levels, obesity, lupus, underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism), mineral imbalance in the blood, hypoparathyroidism, uterus problems like fibroids or endometriosis, gallbladder disease, asthma, seizures, migraine headaches, or porphyria blood disorder.
Any of these conditions may lead them to determine that use of Premarin is not suitable for you.
Do not smoke or use tobacco when using Premarin as doing so increases your risk of stroke, blood clots, high blood pressure, and heart attack for women who are older than the age of thirty-five (35).
Use of Premarin may not be suitable if you just had or will undergo surgery or if you will be confined to a chair or bed for a long time. This may increase your risk of getting blood clots.
